1. Discuss some ways to help children develop a love for music.
Pushing children to practice the piano or other instruments
definately isn't a good way to develop the children's love for
music. From my point of view, making them familier with music in
their life is the best way to help children to develop their love
with music.
How to do it? For example, we can listen to the music when we
have meals istead of watching TV. Or, we also can schedule a
period of time to be the "family music hour". Besides listening
to the music we also can inspire them how to express their
feelings by different music. For example, Beethoven's music can
show the passion, desire and the love in our life. And Chopin's
music can teach us how to show our blue mood and sadness, etc.
From these exercise, children can know the true feeling in the
music, and will more preciate the spirit or the soul inside the
music, not just remember the music or the music symbols in the
books!
