2010/01/02
* International Wine Challenge Silver 2009
Winery: Crozes-Hermitage(red)
Area: Northern Rhone Valley(France)
Year: 2007
Grape: Syrah grape(a kind of dark-skinned grape)
Tasting note: black and red berry fruit flavours, hint of spices, cedarwood and black pepper. Personally, I prefer to this wine. And actually this wine is much sweeter than other redwine i have ever tasted. I think this is not a dry redwine. But some notes show that syrah grape is usually used to make dry red table wine. So that is quite weird when you taste strong fruity and sweet flavour from this kind of wine. But pretty good.
Colour: purple
