記得我在八月的時候去倫敦看的戲碼格麗特嗎？這限定版的音樂劇，終於
進駐到我的小閣樓。深夜開了這片ＣＤ聽著聽著，很有感覺咧。
China Doll 以及 The Face I See是最喜歡的兩首歌。China Doll
唱出Marguerite自己當時在戰爭時的寫照，一個取悅主人的陶瓷娃娃，
一個無法掌握自己人生的人偶。
The Face I See則是歌唱於所謂『真愛』氣氛的沉醉，很有Les
Miserable，I dreamed a dream的感覺。只是I dreamed a
dream裡，樂與悲的交會是樂極後的生悲，而The Face I See則是喜
悅中女主角的自我內心告白，喜悅於自己自以為再也不會出現的愛悅與
光芒，再度出現於自己的臉上，但是，在沉醉喜悅中卻又搖搖頭告訴自
己這不過是一時的歡愉，所謂愛，不過是年輕歲月時才會產生的感覺，
卻又在感覺到悲觀之虞，告訴自己，或許：That my life can
begin once more... 在歌詞裡，交替著喜悅、悲傷，又再度回到
喜悅與期待的反覆。
