Denis Cosgrove (1948-2008)

Denis Cosgrove

尤其是Social formation and Symbolic Landscape,應該是啟

?so vivid。

Rober Burns

Picture from bbc official website

Robert Burns

Should auld acquaintance be forgot,

And never brought to mind ?

Should auld acquaintance be forgot,

And auld lang syne ?

For auld lang syne, my jo,

For auld lang syne,

We’ll tak a cup o’ kindness yet,

For auld lang syne.

And surely ye’ll be your pint-stowp !

And surely I’ll be mine !

And we’ll tak a cup o’ kindness yet,

For auld lang syne.

We twa hae run about the braes,

And pu’d the gowans fine ;

But we’ve wander’d mony a weary foot,

Sin auld lang syne.

We twa hae paidl’d i' the burn,

Frae morning sun till dine ;

But seas between us braid hae roar’d

Sin auld lang syne.

And there’s a hand, my trusty fiere !

And gie's a hand o’ thine !

And we’ll tak a right gude-willy waught,

For auld lang syne.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/robertburns/burnsnight/running_order.shtml

Starter: Traditional cock-a-leekie soup;

Main course: Haggis, neeps & tatties

("Haggis wi' bashit neeps an' champit tatties");

Sweet: Clootie Dumpling (a pudding prepared in a linen cloth or cloot)

or Typsy Laird (a Scottish sherry trifle)

Cheeseboard with bannocks (oatcakes) and tea/coffee.

My love like a red red

rose.

O my Luve's like a red , red rose,

That's newly sprung in June:

O my Luve's like the melodie,

That's sweetly play'd in tune.

As fair art thou, my bonie lass,

So deep in luve am I;

And I will luve thee still, my dear,

Till a' the seas gang dry .

Till a' the seas gang dry , my dear,

And the rocks melt wi' the sun;

And I will luve thee still, my dear,

While the sands o' life shall run.

And fare-thee-weel, my only Luve !

And fare-thee-weel, a while!

And I will come again, my Luve ,

Tho' 'twere ten thousand mile!

So, just enjoy the night, everyone. Though may you not have a Haggis.

。The revolution road

構裡,還是,用『這才是現實』的謊言,just ask yourself to value the decision

you have made?

。the documentary in bbc of Anne Frank's Diary:

Gies said: no, it is not true. The past go always with you.

in your whole life. And we have to learn from the past.

Learn what? learn how to repeat the past again and again in the history?

Dear Gies, maybe you've to review your words now.... and see if the human

you said is clever enough to learn some lessons and things from the past..

Or just repeat the tragedy again and again on the timeline....

The Reader

What are we sitting for? What are we sitting and looking for?

We sit there and try to understand.

Understand what?

If I had gun in hand, i would like to kill all of them!

Rather touched, my favorite screen.

結構底下被支配的一個小螺絲?they just do their duty, no matter justice or

not.

I’m so sorry.

Anne, Meryl, Kristin...oh god who’s the other one. Angelina, I’m so...

This is...okay...now forgive me. Gather. This is really happening.

Ok...uhm...I gonna try to do this.

Thank you so much.

Ah...ah...thank you so much. Oh, god...

Oh, please wrap up, you have no idea how much I’m not wrapping up.

Ok, gather.

Thank you to the Hollywood foreign press, this is absolutely extraordinary.

I have amazing couple of years I got to play these two remarkable women.

And I want to thanks to my beautiful agents, Hylda & Dallas.

I’ve known them since I was fifteen.

And they really brought these scripts to me and helped me to hang on to it.

My god.

Ok, who comes next.

I want to thank Richard Yates, the late great Richard Yates for writing

this remarkable novel. And for creating a role for a woman that I just

can’t believe it came in my way and fallen in my hands like this.

I want to thank our remarkable cast and our crew, they all know who they are.

Ok, next.

We have many producers on this film, Scott Rudin.

Oh Scott Rudin, Bobby Cohen but particularly Marion Rosenberg

for their lifelong commitment to this material.

Now I have to thank Hair & make-up department....

and my wonderful dialect coach.

Ok, I’m gonna hurry up now.

Two incredible men, who are such special people in my world.

Leo, I’m so happy I can stand here and tell you how much I love you.

And how much I loved you for 13 years.

And your performance in this film is nothing short of spectacular.

I love you with all my heart, I really do.

And my husband Sam, thank you for directing this film babe.

And thank you for killing us every single day.

I really enjoyed it actually be in such terrific pain.

But I can honestly say it with my hand and my heart that I love

every second working with you and it make me love you more.

And my children, they were with us everyday on this film.

And they were as much as part of it as everybody I just mentioned.

My god, thank you so much.

Thank you so much, my god...
